This concert was like a three course meal that left me satisfied! Mobius Band, Stellastarr* and Editors. Perhaps what most excited me about this show was the discovery and increased appreciation level of two bands. Mobius Band who opened the show is a technically well versed trio from New York. I am sure this is not the last you will hear of Mobius Band! Next up to bat was Stellastarr*, who did not disappoint. Stellastarr* has the capability to light a fire under a crowds buttocks… the audience was jumping around like their pants were burning. Stop, drop and rock-n-roll.
Ah yes, we have reached the pinnacle of the show, Editors take the stage. If you like their albums, you will adore their live performance. I was extremely impressed and excited to add another UK band to our long list of reasons why we must move to London. A CD cannot remotely capture the conglomeration of musical talent expelled from Editors. The lead singer looked like he was going to explode from the passion building inside of him. He was so moved; he continually looked to his guitar for a hug.
