Channeling one of the greatest musical films of all times, the crowd was, Singin’ In The Rain, Just Singin’ In The Rain. Gene Kelly would have been proud. A little rain never hurt anybody and it sure can’t stifle music.
The Hush Sound took the stage as the grey sky started to weep. Whether the song was fueled by the piano or driven by a slow tempo, their talent was apparent. The performance was not flashy, there was no stage diving but their music kept the attention of the drenched crowd.
By the time OK GO hit the stage the rain had subsided but the fun was just getting started. Their latest CD, Oh No, is packed full of tunes destined to rabble up a crowd. OK GO provided the highlights of the evening in our book. 1) They covered an awesome Pixies song 2) Get, Get, Get, Get, Get Over It, stirred up the crowd 3) The Dance routine! OK GO’s choreographed dance might be one of the coolest things I have seen in a show. MUSiC SNiTCH solutes you.
Panic! At The Disco sure has the ability to make the ladies do the TRL scream. Honestly, this is a quality band, they sounded great live and the show was fun. Even though the rain probably destroyed cameras, phones, shoes, make-up…I think the Panic! fans believe it was well worth it. If you dig their CD, you will love the show.
