Sincere, captivating, talented, charming aka: India Arie. Her voice is powerful and she sings each song as if it purifies her soul. Sharing whimsical interaction and truthful confessions, the audience was emerged in her presence. There was such a cool vibe misting the theater.
From the uplifting songs that literally had people jumping up from their seats and dancing in the aisles to the emotion bearing ballets that hushed the crowd enough to hear a pin drop. Her voice and passion at times enticed chills from spouting. Not only were the back-up singers amazing but her band rocked the theater. The guitar player and the drummer deserve applauds themselves, they were brilliant. Her cover of True Colors which she sang via flute was beautiful.
