lovedrugLovedrug’s most recently released album, Pretend You’re Alive is a moody twist of distortedly invoking musical images. I feel like this album should be the soundtrack to some of my dreams, moreover, nightmares. The vocals are undeniably distinct and perpetrated by raw emotion. You can sense a battle of wits between a heart and mind…although I am not sure which was victorious.

Pretend You’re Alive is perfect company while your sleepy eyes are shut, witnessing flickering thoughts of confusion. The sounds and the lyrics evolve into visual perception. This album houses upbeat tracks, filled with guitar rifts as well as mellow down tempo tunes flooded with beautiful piano strokes. Stand-Out Tracks: Blackout, Spiders, Down Towards The Healing, RocknRoll
