Brooklyn indie rock group The Picture is quickly emerging within the New York music scene. Taking cues from bands as diverse as Jesus & Mary Chain, Love and Rockets, and The Cure, these buzzing rockers combine the expansiveness of early 90s rock with melodic undertones. Their first EP, Bluebirds will be available digitally on February 24th.
The Picture is Robert Abel (vocals, guitar), Greg Abel (guitar, keys, and vocals), Chris Buckle (lead guitar, piano, backing vocals), Jake Siegler (bass), and Jared Vergilis (drums) and reside in Brooklyn, NY. A follow-up EP, Artichokes, is planned for release in Late Spring.
