Scotland has steadily been revealing itself to be the home of many superb bands, so I am always excited to come across new music from that region. Copy Haho is from a small town near Aberdeen called Stonehaven, which is apparently the birthplace of the fountain pen. The band, who has been compared to the likes of Pavement and The Buzzcocks, is comprised of Joe Hearty (Guitar/Vox), Rikki Will (Drums), Stuart Mcintosh (Guitar), Richard Scott (Bass).
Since forming in 2005 Copy Haho has released two limited 7” singles ‘Bookshelf’ and ‘You Are My Coal Mine,’ as well as their latest EP ‘Bred for Skills and Magic,’ via the Oxford label Big Scary Monsters.
