Thee Oh Sees (formerly The Ohsees, OCS, Orange County Sound, Orinoka Crash Suite) began as a way for John Dwyer to release his instrumental, experimental home recordings. Over the years Dwyer dabbled in various forms of music, from death metal to punk, and has been apart of countless music projects (Coachwhips, Pink and Brown, Landed, Yikes, Burmese, The Hospitals, Sword & Sandals, Superpit, The Drums, The Trawgs, and Dig That Body Up It’s Alive!).
As Dwyer focused a bit more energy on this lo-fi, psychedelic project, it evolved into a band with the addition of Brigid Dawson , Petey Dammit and Mike Shoun. Thee Oh Sees released their latest album ‘Help’ a few months ago via In The Red.
