As I was poking around Secretly Canadian’s website I noticed that one of their bands, Magnolia Electric Co., was about to release a new album ‘Josephine’.
I wasn’t familiar with Magnolia Electric Co.’s music (and I still can’t claim to be), however, I was quickly taken with the lead single, ‘Little Sad Eyes’, especially paired with the album’s back story. Magnolia’s bass player past away a couple years back, so ‘Josephine’ is a tribute to his life and spirit.
The album will be available on July 21st.
