Cymbals Eat Guitars, the quartet from Staten Island have stimulated quite a buzz with their debut, self-released album, ‘Why There Are Mountains’. The album is going to be re-released on September 23rd via Sister’s Den records.
Cymbals Eat Guitars is ambitious without going too far, as evident on the melodic, multi-layered track ‘Wind Phoenix’. The bands’ sound has often been compared to the likes of 90’s indie fave, Pavement.
