I just came across a couple tunes from Glass Ghost’s latest album ‘Idol Omen’, which was released about a month ago via Western Vinyl records. I was introduced to the Brooklyn based duo by the track, “Mechanical Life”, and I have to admit, the initial moments did not prepare me for Krimsky’s voice. The songs’ drum heavy introduction was dark and rhythmical, so I was not expecting a monotone falsetto to appear singing about brushing one’s teeth. After a few listens I became oddly fascinated with the track but I’m not sure how Glass Ghost would fare for an entire album.
