Van She just revealed the title single from their forthcoming album, ‘Idea Of Happiness,’ which is set to be released on July 10th via Modular.

“Ekki Múkk” is the first single from Sigur Rós’ recently confirmed album, ‘Valtari.’ The seven track LP is set to be released stateside on May 29th via EMI/XL. Frontman Jónsi described the album as “heavy and floaty”, he also mentioned that there are no English lyrics.
Sigur Rós’ bassist, Georg Holmi, offered this bit of insight about ‘Valtari’ on the band’s website: “Really can’t remember why we started this record, I no longer know what we were trying to do back then. I do know session after session went pear-shaped, we lost focus and almost gave up…did give up for a while. But then something happened and form started to emerge, and now I can honestly say that it’s the only Sigur Rós record I have listened to for pleasure in my own house after we’ve finished it.”

“Travelin’ On” is the second single from Norah Jones’ forthcoming Danger Mouse produced album,’Little Broken Hearts,’ which is set to be released on May 1st via Blue Note. “Travelin’ On” is slow-paced and beautifully controlled, allowing Jones’ sincere vocals to grab the spotlight with her heavyhearted lyrics.

One Little Plane aka. Kathryn Bint, recently released a new track, “She Was Out In The Water,” which can be found on her forthcoming album, ‘Into The Trees.’ The album, which was produced by Kieran Hebden (you might also know him as Four Tet), will be available on May 7th via Hebden’s, Text Records. This delightful folk song features Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood…check it out below.
