Akron/Family’s forthcoming album, ‘Akron/Family’s S/T II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT’ is currently available for pre-order. The album will be released on February 8th in the states, and you can check out the latest single, “Silly Bears,” on A/K’s web page (see link above)…where you can also find their tour dates.
The versatile folk-rock band, Akron/Family recently released their fifth album but their first as a trio, ‘Set ‘Em Wild, Set Em Free’ via Dead Oceans Records. Having said goodbye to founding member Ryan Vanderhoof, the remaining members had to pick up the slack…which might not have been a problem given their ability to switch instruments and microphone duties.
