Interpol’s frontman Paul Banks recently released his solo debut album, ‘Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper’, via Matador Records (August 4th). While a solo Banks performs under the moniker, Julian Plenti, it is near impossible to get Interpol out of my head…his voice is unmistakable no matter what name he goes by.
Apparently Banks had been working on this album even before the release of Interpol’s marvelous debut album, ‘Turn on the Bright Lights’, in 2002.
