First Pavement, then Preston School Of Industry and now Spiral Stairs…Scott Kannberg is one busy guy. Spiral Stairs’ debut album, ‘The Real Feel’ is set for an October 20th release as both a digital CD and LP, the difference is, the LP comes with a bonus 7″. Just because this is Kannberg’s solo album doesn’t mean he can’t use a little help from his friends, like the Posies, Australian rock band Gersey, a few members of Preston School, guitarist Ian Moore and Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew.

‘Maltese Terrier’, the first single from ‘The Real Feel’ tickled my eardrums immediately with it’s melodic, 70’s-ish rock sound…plus I have a weak spot for the banjo.
