We-All-Have-Hooks-For-HandsWe All Have Hooks For Hands is a nine-piece alternative pop band hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This robust band includes dueling drummers, a violinist, three guitars, two horn/keyboard players, and a lone bass.

We All Have Hooks For Hands will release their sophomore album, ‘The Shape Of Energy’, on November 17th via Afternoon Records. In support of their new album, the band will be touring the states through the end of the year.

Vampire-Weekend-HorchataVampire Weekend recently surprised fans by offering the opening track from their upcoming sophomore album, ‘Contra’, for free via their website.

Ezra Koenig offered a bit of background information regarding the track, “Horchata” (NME): The percussionist who plays a bunch of stuff on “Horchata” is a Brazilian guy named Mauro Refosco,” he explained. “We just heard he’s joined Thom Yorke’s band. He’s an amazing percussionist.
